Try a sample challenge
A login page reflects the ?msg= URL parameter straight into the page without encoding it. What flag do you get after exploiting it?
This demo has no live page to attack - the flag is just the name of the vulnerability class this is. Format: hackfury{the_vulnerability_type}.
A login form builds its query by concatenating the username field straight into SQL, with no parameter binding. What flag do you get after exploiting it?
This demo has no live page to attack - the flag is just the name of the vulnerability class this is. Format: hackfury{the_vulnerability_type}.
Blue team practice
Defend a live SOC in FurySOC.
Step into a simulated security operations center. Triage incoming alerts, investigate the signal, and decide what is a real incident versus noise - the same workflow a working SOC analyst runs every shift.
- Realistic tenants with their own alert streams
- Severity-ranked alerts across live and archived cases
- Investigation and triage, not multiple-choice quizzes
- Advanced scenarios unlocked with HackFury Pro

FAQ
Answers before you even need support.
Common questions from learners, universities, and teams.
For beginners, self-learners, career-switchers, and practicing professionals.
Is it free? +
Yes. Free covers core learning and competition. Some labs and courses cost HFC; HackFury Pro unlocks paid practice plus advanced FurySOC. See Pricing for Free vs HFC packs vs Pro.
What is Free vs HFC packs vs HackFury Pro? +
Free gets you core labs, courses, events, XP, and earnable HFC. HFC packs let you buy coins for specific paid unlocks and hints. HackFury Pro is a monthly or annual membership for paid labs and courses, advanced FurySOC alerts, free lab/course hints, and early event registration when enabled. Annual Pro: Save $10 vs 12 months. What skills do I need to start? +
You do not need to be advanced. Basic computer literacy and curiosity are enough to begin. The platform is designed so beginners can start with guided paths while more experienced users jump into labs, events, or SOC-style workflows.
Is HackFury only for advanced hackers? +
No. The platform is built for progression. Beginners can start with structured foundations, intermediates can deepen practical knowledge, and advanced users can jump into labs, competitive events, and scenario-based environments like FurySOC.
If I submit the same wrong answer twice, does it waste an attempt? +
No. On events, labs, and courses, repeating the same incorrect answer does not count again - whether you clicked submit by mistake or a teammate already tried it on a team event. You will see a message that the answer was already tried, so you can submit something new without losing attempts or penalties.
Do I get real hands-on practice or just theory? +
Hands-on practice is a core part of HackFury. Courses, labs, learning paths, events, and FurySOC workflows are designed so users can apply concepts directly instead of only reading or watching content.
How do certifications work? +
Each certification is a timed exam drawn at random from a private question bank. Some tracks are proctored: you book a live session where a proctor checks your photo ID, and for some the proctor stays with you for the whole exam. Pass it and you get a certificate with a public verify link employers can check.
How much time do I need each week? +
You can use HackFury at your own pace. Some users drop in for focused labs or event prep, while others follow a steady weekly learning path. The platform is meant to support both casual progression and structured long-term development.
For departments, student groups, academies, and training programs.
Can my university use HackFury? +
Yes. HackFury supports academic and institutional use through partnerships, events, guided programs, and university-aligned exercises. If your department, club, or lab wants a structured rollout, use the Partner with HackFury section above.
Can student clubs or bootcamps run events on the platform? +
Yes. HackFury is designed to support organized events, competitions, and guided activities for student clubs, academies, workshops, and bootcamps. That includes hosted experiences with scoreboards, challenge delivery, and audience-specific learning tracks.
Can HackFury support structured academic programs? +
Yes. The platform supports guided progression through courses, labs, events, and certification-linked outcomes, which makes it suitable for semester support, extracurricular programs, training cohorts, and practical cyber competitions.
For recruiters, organizations, bug bounty clients, and authors.
How can recruiters evaluate talent on HackFury? +
Recruiters can discover candidates through practical signals such as platform activity, demonstrated skills, completion history, certifications, and hands-on achievement patterns. The goal is to surface evidence of capability, not just resumes.
Can companies run private training, events, or cyber exercises? +
Yes. HackFury supports company-facing use cases such as guided learning programs, practical internal training, cyber events, and managed experiences for teams that want something more applied than a standard content library.
Can organizations launch bug bounty programs through HackFury? +
Yes. Organizations can work with HackFury to launch managed bug bounty initiatives and connect with a community of security researchers. This is intended to help teams identify issues earlier and create a more structured vulnerability reporting workflow.
Can I publish courses or labs as an author? +
Yes. Authors can create and publish learning content for the HackFury audience. That includes practical material such as courses, labs, and challenges, with opportunities to grow reach and participate in paid or partnership-driven content models where available.
Is HackFury only focused on offensive security? +
No. HackFury spans offensive and defensive learning. Users can train in areas like web security, labs, competitions, and bug bounty work, while also building skills through defensive analysis, SOC workflows, and structured incident-style practice.
